AI adoption for mid-size manufacturers

Put AI to work where it actually pays off on your floor.

Most AI advice doesn't survive contact with a real production environment. I help mid-size manufacturers find, and ship, the handful of AI use-cases that can genuinely cut hours, errors, and cost. It starts with a fixed-fee, two-week AI Opportunity Audit.

Yavesta is led by Yasmine Jahani, Ph.D., an engineer who has spent her career taking advanced-manufacturing technology from the lab to the production floor.

The approach

I help you find the few AI use-cases that hold up on your floor.

You've seen the demos and the slide decks. But generic "AI transformation" ignores how your plant actually runs: the legacy systems, the tribal knowledge, the razor-thin tolerance for downtime. It's why so many well-intentioned pilots stall before they scale, and good tools end up unused.

I take the opposite approach: start from your process, not the technology. Find the few places where AI is most likely to remove real hours or prevent real defects, and rule out the ones that won't pay off. Test it small, then scale what works. The wins are usually concrete: a few hours a week back on manual reporting, fewer escaped defects, faster root-cause.

Who it's for: mid-size manufacturers, including plant managers, operations and quality leaders, and owners who want practical results, not a science project.

Services

Start small. Scale what works.

Three steps that build on each other. You only need the first one to begin.

Start here

AI Opportunity Audit

Fixed fee

about 2 weeks

A structured walkthrough of your operation, then a ranked shortlist of up to 5 AI use-cases with an ROI sketch for the top 3, then a one-page 90-day roadmap you own and can act on, with or without me.

Next

AI Pilot Sprint

Fixed fee

build & ship

We build and ship one or two working AI workflows straight from the roadmap, for example automated shift or quality reporting, or an SOP and spec lookup assistant with human verification.

Ongoing

Fractional AI Lead

Retainer

monthly

A steady hand as AI rolls out across more of your operation: new use-cases, tuning, priority access between sessions (answered within one business day), and a monthly check-in with a quarterly view of measured impact, including where it is and isn't paying off.

How pricing works: every engagement is fixed-fee and scoped to your operation, agreed in writing before any work begins. No hourly meters, no billing surprises. The Audit's job is to find where AI clearly earns its cost, and to say so plainly when it doesn't. Sometimes the honest answer is a better spreadsheet, a sensor, or fixing the process first, and I'll tell you when that's the case.
Land and grow: the idea is simple: start in one high-impact area (reporting, quality, or planning), prove it, then scale across the operation as trust builds. You don't have to bet the whole plant on day one.

About

Engineering depth, not buzzwords.

Yasmine Jahani, Ph.D., founder of Yavesta

I'm Yasmine Jahani. I started Yavesta because I care about work that holds up on a real floor, not slideware.

I'm an engineer with a Ph.D. and 8+ years across R&D and advanced manufacturing: the work of getting new technology out of the lab and into real production. I understand the business case, not just the engineering.

I start with your problem, not a product. I find what actually fits your operation, test it before you commit, and I'll tell you plainly when AI is the wrong answer.

You can verify my background on LinkedIn.

Why this works

Low-risk by design.

I'm tool-agnostic on purpose. The right answer is whatever fits your operation, and I test it before you scale it.

1

Floor-tested judgment

Real experience getting production platforms into high-volume manufacturing means I can spot where AI will genuinely earn its place, and I'll steer you away from the rest.

2

A method, not a guess

Every engagement runs on a structured method grounded in and aligned to recognized standards (NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001), adapted to how manufacturing actually runs.

3

You're never locked in

Fixed fees, a roadmap you own outright, and no vendor lock-in. You're buying clarity and a roadmap you control, never a black box.

How we work together

You work directly with me, start to finish.

Every Yavesta engagement is led personally by me, a Ph.D. engineer who has moved real technology into production. I take on a limited number of clients at a time, so each one gets genuine attention and a roadmap built for their actual operation.

If we're not a fit, I'll tell you straight and point you in a better direction where I can. Your operation, your data, and your roadmap stay confidential, and I'm glad to sign your NDA. I vet every tool for how it handles your data, and never put your information into systems that train on it.

Get started

Find your first AI win.

A free 20-minute call: tell me where your team's hours go, and I'll point to where AI is most likely to help. You'll leave with a concrete direction, whether or not we work together.

I reply within one business day to set up the call. If it's a fit, you'll get a short written proposal with a fixed fee before any work begins.
